I looked at a few of my photos that had people who looked like they could be making their way home from bar hopping but I decided to go with this because I like the image.
It’s an art installation on Naoshima (Japan), an island devoted to art.
It’s open to various interpretations. If you want to be literalistic, the little colored illuminated numbers could be the bar patrons wading / swimming/ in…liquid.
The numbers could represent the number of drinks they had, or how many blocks to home, or… Not
And who is that shadowy figure?
